Can't get it shown here. But gwoo has a nice presentation about CakePHP 1.2. He gives you an overview of CakePHP and especially 1.2. Have a look at it, it's definitely worth your minutes and it will not hurt you.

Yup, it's a single-user (at least for now) meant-to-be-used-by-developers CMS. I'm currently working on the install/update feature, should be done by the end of this month - I hope - don't have enough spare time.. :-(

Spare time is always a problem, but I'm very curious about your CMS. I will be starting to make a custom made CMS for one of my customers soon, also in CakePHP. Was just thinking how to start :)

Don't be fooled by the fairly good looks of my site, it has nothing to do with the chaos that produces it! :-) I'm still learning Cake (seen it for the first time a couple of months ago) and decided to do this "CMS" to get familiar, so my code is not something to brag about..there is probably a ton of things I'm doing wrong there :-/
